General Rules and Regulations
General Conduct and Attendance:
- Mandatory Identity Card: Each student must carry their institution-issued identity card on all working days. This is essential for security and identification purposes.
- Punctuality: Students must enter the college premises by the first bell. Late entry beyond the second bell is strictly prohibited.
- Regular Attendance: Consistent class attendance is compulsory. Students must seek prior permission from the principal for any leave of absence.
- Minimum Attendance Requirement: Students who fail to meet the required attendance percentage will be deemed ineligible to appear for the University Examination.
Discipline and Behavior:
- Prohibited Use of Mobile Phones: Bringing cell phones to the college is strictly forbidden. No explanation from students or parents will be entertained regarding this rule.
- Respect and Conduct: Irregular attendance, lack of punctuality, disobedience, and disrespect towards college staff will lead to disciplinary action, including possible dismissal.
- Damage to College Property: Any damage to furniture, laboratory equipment, or other college property will result in the responsible student being charged for repair or replacement costs.
- Anti-Ragging Policy: Strict anti-ragging policies will be enforced. Any involvement in bullying or harassment will lead to immediate suspension or dismissal.
- Dress Code: Students must adhere to the prescribed dress code that reflects professionalism and decency.
Academic Commitment:
- Class Tests and Exams: Participation in class tests, revision tests, and model exams for all subjects is compulsory.
- Extended Working Days: While the college operates five days a week, the schedule may be extended to six days prior to examinations or when necessary.
- Library Usage: Students must utilize the library resources responsibly and adhere to the library rules.
- Counseling and Mentorship: Active participation in counseling sessions and mentorship programs for career guidance and personal growth is encouraged.
Campus Regulations:
- Restricted Movement: Students are not permitted to leave the college premises during working hours. In exceptional circumstances, permission must be obtained from the Principal.
- Lab and Equipment Handling: Proper care and usage of laboratory equipment and college facilities are mandatory. Any negligence will be subject to penalties.
- Eco-Friendly Campus: Students must actively participate in eco-friendly initiatives and maintain cleanliness on the campus.
