Non-Refund Policy of Bharathi Educational Institutions

Bharathi Educational Institutions ("we," "our," "us") is committed to providing high-quality education, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and world-class facilities at an affordable cost to promote women's education. Given that our institution operates on a not-for-profit basis with a focus on accessibility, all fees collected are essential to maintaining and sustaining the academic environment. Therefore, we have implemented a strict Non-Refund Policy to ensure the financial stability and operational continuity of our institution.
By enrolling in any program, submitting fees, or using institutional services, students and their parents/guardians acknowledge and agree to the following Non-Refund Policy in its entirety.
1. General Non-Refund Policy
• All fees paid to Bharathi Educational Institutions are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-adjustable under any circumstances.
• This policy applies to all types of fees, including but not limited to:
✅ Admission Fees
✅ Tuition Fees
✅ Examination Fees
✅ Hostel and Accommodation Fees
✅ Transportation Fees
✅ Library Fees
✅ Laboratory Fees
✅ Miscellaneous Fees (ID cards, uniforms, academic materials, etc.)
✅ Any other payments made to the institution for academic or non-academic purposes
2. Admission Fees
• The admission fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, even if a student:
✅ Fails to join the institution after paying the admission fee.
✅ Withdraws or discontinues before the commencement of classes.
✅ Seeks admission elsewhere after securing a seat at Bharathi Educational Institutions.
• Admission fees once paid are not adjustable towards any other charges or academic sessions.
3. Tuition Fees and Other Academic Charges
• Tuition fees are non-refundable regardless of whether a student:
✅ Attends classes regularly or not.
✅ Discontinues or withdraws from the course due to personal reasons.
✅ Is dismissed or suspended due to disciplinary actions.
✅ Seeks transfer to another institution.
• Partial payments or installment-based fee structures, if applicable, must be paid in full as per the agreed schedule.
• In case of discontinuation, no refunds, fee waivers, or adjustments will be granted for the remaining term or academic year.
4. Examination Fees
• Examination fees are non-refundable once paid, regardless of a student's eligibility or participation in the exams.
• If a student is disqualified or unable to appear for the examination due to any reason, no refund or adjustment will be granted.
5. Hostel and Accommodation Fees
• Hostel fees, including boarding, lodging, and mess charges, are non-refundable under all circumstances.
• If a student vacates the hostel before the completion of the academic year or term, no pro-rata refund will be provided.
• Security deposits (if any) are subject to deductions for damages or non-compliance with hostel regulations.
6. Transportation Fees
• Fees for college transportation services are non-refundable, even if a student:
✅ Stops using the transportation mid-term.
✅ Withdraws from the institution.
✅ Changes residence and no longer requires the service.
• No adjustments or partial refunds will be entertained for unused transport services.
7. Library and Laboratory Fees
• Library and laboratory fees are non-refundable, regardless of whether the student makes use of the facilities or not.
• Any damage to library books or laboratory equipment will result in additional fines, separate from the paid fees.
8. Fees for Short-Term, Certification, and Additional Programs
• Fees for certificate courses, workshops, summer programs, or any additional training programs are non-refundable once paid.
• If a student fails to complete or attend these programs, no refund, transfer, or adjustment of fees will be allowed.
9. Scholarship and Financial Aid Students
• Students availing scholarships, financial aid, or fee concessions must comply with all institutional rules.
• Any student found violating institutional policies may forfeit the scholarship, and no refunds will be provided for previously paid amounts.
10. Fee Adjustments, Transfers, and Deferment Requests
• Fees paid cannot be transferred to another student, academic session, or program.
• Deferment requests (requesting a postponement of fees to another academic year) will not be considered.
• Fee adjustments for future courses will not be entertained.
11. Exceptional Circumstances
• In rare and exceptional circumstances (such as medical emergencies or force majeure events), partial refunds may be considered at the sole discretion of the institution’s management.
• Any such request must be made in writing with valid documentary evidence, and the final decision will rest with the management.
• The institution reserves the right to approve or deny such requests without any obligation to provide a refund.
12. Legal Implications and Parental Consent
• By submitting fees, students and their parents/legal guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Non-Refund Policy.
• Any disputes or disagreements regarding fee payments shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kallakurichi.
• Legal action against the institution on matters related to refunds shall not be entertained as the policy is clear and binding upon all stakeholders.
• The institution shall not be responsible for financial losses incurred due to misinterpretation of the policy by students or their families.
13. Changes to This Policy
• Bharathi Educational Institutions reserves the right to update, amend, or modify this Non-Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.
• It is the responsibility of students and parents to review this policy periodically to stay informed.
